I have 4kids and have used many many car seats. This one is easy to install both with the latch and the seatbelt. It comes with the H clip for the seatbelt. The buckle is small so it’s great for a newborn. It’s thin enough for 3across and it’s cheaper than most convertible seats

While the sun shade is by far the best feature, the carseat itself is meant for tiny baby’s under 20 pounds. My 40 pound 3 year old did not fit in the harness whatsoever and my 20 pound 7 month old barely fit. The buckle part also doesn’t extend up enough, and so the two click-in pieces dug into my baby’s thighs. I’m returning it.

My daughter has red marks all around her legs from this car seat And it hurts her every time to be buckled up I didn’t spend this much money on something that hurts my child

I was so excited to purchase this car seat - we are sworn baby trend customers ever since our horrible car accident which totaled our car and spun us in a complete circle in December of 2021 a week and a half before Christmas. Our 11 month old was with us and she was extremely shaken up by the accident but she was perfectly fine with not even a scratch on her, that’s when I said baby trend is our only choice as she was in her babytrend infant car seat. After the accident I knew I wanted this car seat to keep her safe and stay with her for as long as possible. Unfortunately after I ordered My order was cancelled due to no stock so I won’t be getting this car seat. I’m sure if I had The chance I would give it a 100% and 5 star rating.

When I bought this less than a year ago, my baby had just turned one and fit in it perfectly. I recently had to readjust it so she can fit in it better as a 2 year old but her legs are so chunky that the buckle and straps are too narrow. The weight limit is 65 lbs but that’s not correct at all. They built this for skinny kids and my daughter isn’t even close to 65 lbs…her legs are just fuller. So disappointed. Now I have to invest in another car seat when I was expecting to use this one for a few years :/

I had such high hopes for this car seat. I have installed a lot of carseats and this is one of the most frustrating of all of them! The strap to anchor on the seat anchors in the car are way to short and will not reach when rear facing. If you use the seat belt you have to buy one of the strap locks and even then the seat is way too wobbly. I will be returning.
