Baby Einstein™ Neptune's Ocean Discovery Jumper

My 9 month old granddaughter already has an Evenflo bouncer but doesn't show much interest in it. Last night at Buy Buy Baby my daughter and I saw the Baby Einstein and wondered if my granddaughter would like it. So I took the display model down and placed it on the floor and put her in it. To my surprise, she didn't just like it, she was totally immersed in it and for a long while she showed no signs of slowing down. She now has her own Baby Einstein at home and she couldn't be happier. Assembly was very easy and required no tools except a philips screwdriver to install the 3 AA batteries required for the electronic turtle. The turtle has 3 very large numbers 1, 2 and 3 which light up when pressed and when set to 123 it says the number pressed in English, then Spanish, then French. Another press says the color of the lighted number in the same 3 languages. Another press and it plays a classical song while the lights flash on and off. Move the switch to the middle and it chimes when a number is pressed. Move the switch to the Music symbol and it plays songs and flash the numbers at the same time. There is a different song each time a number is pressed and each song lasts for a good amount of time. I have no idea how many songs there are. Over time we will find out. There are many other activities to keep your child very interested and excited. The Baby Einstein is a gem and I highly recommend this one over all the others as we let our little infant choose for herself this time. The others in the store just didn't interest her as much. If you're short on space, when your little one is not using it, you just press the unlock button near the bottom of the down rod and pull the rod out. Repeat this for all 3 rods then lay the rods on top of the jumper where it will then fit under a bed or some other tuck-a-way space. With the electronic turtle, music and other sounds, 3 stars, a fish, an octopus, a crab inside a plastic bulb with plastic beads in it that turn and make noise when spun, some cards, and a mirror, your child will stay busy and entertained for a long time. So I very highly recommend the Baby Einstein Neptune's Ocean Discovery Jumper for any infant child. I know its blue and blue is SUPPOSED to be for boys, but my granddaughter doesn't know that and she picked this one after trying out many others that were on display. Take your child to Buy Buy Baby and let your child test drive it. I guarantee you will not leave the store without one.
