Baby Born® Surprise Doll Series 5 Animal Surprise

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The kids loved it but the novelty wore off fairly quickly. It's one of those things where they're going to want to keep buying more and more to collect them all...and you don't know which one you're buying because of the "mystery" so you're probably going to end up with duplicates. They're tiny, like the size of the palm of my hand, and the accessories like the bottle are even smaller. I can see the pieces getting lost easily and stepped on by me often. But they are cute and the girls had fun with them, that's the important part. They had a blast making them urinate and discovering all the little characteristics about them like the eye color and hair type.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My granddaughter had so much fun playing with the Baby born Surprise Collectible Baby Doll. She's not able to read yet but she was able to figure out what to do by just looking at the pictures included in the instructions. She had no problem getting the Baby Doll to open her eyes. Although, she had a bit of trouble getting the Baby to wet her diaper. Just like in real life, it takes several feedings for her to go. I recommend keeping the plastic container the Baby Doll comes in to store the small parts.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My kids love anything LOL or surprise related so of course, they were quite happy to receive this BABY born Surprise Collectible Baby Doll. This does say 10+ surprises, but I am not quite sure what all 10 are unless I missed them. The doll comes wrapped in its swaddle, we got the ice cream cone (cute!), and they are in their diaper, along with a bottle to feed it. The kids had fun "waking up" the doll and of course just enjoy "feeding" over and over again to see the doll wet itself. Overall, this is a cute toy children will love.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] As an adult consumer, I don’t understand the draw. As a parent, I know my kids love these things. There is apparently a ritualistic draw that gives kids significant enjoyment as they discover what combination of attributes (surprises) the doll has. The “birth certificate” is the piece of paper that whole thing together. The get to see the options that are available in the series. Snuggly swaddles, color change diapers, hairstyle and eye colors, gender, name, food, birthday and star sign are the different things you get to discover. What I like is that they are small, easy to pack up as a distraction for the kids on trips and easily replaced if you happen to lose them along the way.

However when I gave it to my 6 year old granddaughter, she was thrilled. She truly enjoyed finding the treasures.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I received this doll for my granddaughter from tryitsampling. When it came I was under the impression that it was a big doll. I was alittle disappointed in the size of the doll but other then that the doll does everything the package says it does.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is so adorable! I love that the baby comes wrapped up in the blanket hidden so it truly is a surprise on what you get. You then unwrap the surprises to find out if your baby is a girl or boy. You then get to take a wet cloth and wipe baby's eyes to "wake them up" and reveal their eye color. You can then feed the baby with water in the bottle to show a fun print on the diaper. My almost 8 year old absolutely loved this!!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I’m not sure what exactly was meant to be the 10 advertised surprises, but the packaging was incredibly misleading. There was a Doll, a bottle, a blanket, and a diaper. Yes, the dolls eye color and diaper print was a surprise. But that’s really the only “surprise” to the whole thing once you’ve opened the doll and it’s accessories. Not very impressed. Cute Doll, although we prefer ones that don’t urinate.
