My son got this for his 2nd birthday, within 3 days he was saying 3 new words and sounding out letters. He loves to dance along with them which is something he’s never done. We were skeptical about spending the money on it since he already has an iPad but now he prefers the AILA instead. It has been well worth the money. The only problem we’ve had is setup. Had to go into the settings to get the QR code to scan but it wasn’t a big deal.

Things I like: that you can check in on the toddler while they’re watching the content, that you can send them mail, that it’s educationally based. What I don’t like: half of the singing voices are terrible and completely off pitch, just terrible, not very interactive for the child, I could get much more out of a tablet for this price. I think this item was extremely overpriced especially considering how expensive the separate cases cost. You can’t have this item without the protective cases especially because it’s for such young children.

So cute!! My 14 month old loves her new AILA. She is very focused on it and loves the bright colorful characters. I love how you can connect to the device and see your baby watching and also can control the broadcast mode by the app as well.

This is a great device as far as investing in your child's education. I purchased it for my 2 year old for her 2nd birthday and she loves it, plus her 6 year old son who is on the spectrum, benefits from using the device as well. Both you and your child will be happy with and benefit from this purchase.

Aila is cute but I don't think it was the right choice for us. My grandson is 5 years old with ASD (Autism). We were hoping that he would be more engaged than he is. He will sit in front of it for a little while but that's about it. We're still getting used to it's intricacies so, it's partly our fault. We're not giving up, but I would not recommend this for a child with ASD.

This is designed for children 12+ months, screen chipped and then the whole unit broke. Great concept, horrible quality.
