Using a 11 w led bulb provides nice ambience light to my living room. This lamp is Wirecutter's best floor lamp. Has a nice modern look at a reasonable price but comes at a cost. Up close, one can see the seams of the body's 3 sections and biggest problem is the small switch is very close to to where the shade frame rests so it's not the easiest to turn the lamp on/off. Otherwise, a good lamp for the price.

White Adesso oslo floor lamp has three section and wire cable to power plugin. Japanese paper drum shade : Big and circular hollow section of white paper of 20 cm approx in length and 28 cm approx width of its diameter meets its look in fixing a 100 watt white lamp. Triple line rod connects from outer inner circumference to the center of the bulb base. Just below, there a black on the holder which quite contrasts, i used a white paper tape usually it may not required. Metal pole: Circular metal pole one third of the inches in width and approx of 3 feet length to the tulip base. Pole packed in three pieces and wire connects to the bulb via tulip base through inside the pole holder. Tulip base: Sliding start to round white plated finish of approx 20 cm with a tail wire from thick of the base. Feature distincts from varieties what i watch for few seconds sometime. Pros: 1. Big size of circular dome and pole gives a contemporary nature in the livingroom space at day hours in most. 2. Worth to be a decorative and useful table/cough light purpose. Cons: 1. Bulb to order in separate and light hits the ceiling through open free upside top in this model. I think it should be covered and not to overflow raw light through top and paper dome in contrast so i covered the top with paper. 2. One bulb (100 watt) brightness won’t be sufficient for livingroom space and only selective decor product. I brought this one for living room and change of decision made to put in bedroom for limited light. Look gives a mood of not to regret on white !

lovely soft light and fits well as a reading lamp. i even went back to buy another since i loved it so much!

The lamp arrived and it's very short. The shade itself takes up half the size of the nursery and we were very unimpressed with the quality of the product. Quite disappointing.
