The Utopian Oneida Community was founded in Oneida, New York in 1848 and Oneida® Limited was established in 1880. While the Community dissolved in 1881, the silverware company evolved over time to become one of the world's largest designers and providers of stainless steel and silver plated cutlery and tableware. The privately held company manufactures flatware, dinnerware, hollowware, kitchen tools, gadgets and cookware; of note to parents and grandparents, the company offers a range of 3 and 6-piece children's 18/10 stainless steel flatware sets designed to coordinate with many poplar flatware patterns.
