Sassy Sensory Stations Play Gym

Engages baby’s senses through a variety of discoveries from birth through 1 year of age. Grows with baby from back play, tummy time through sit up play. With 3 sensory stations on the mat, and grow-with-me toys to explore early STEM concepts!

TUMMY TIME: Pediatricians advise to begin tummy time during the first few weeks. The mat helps provide high contrast toys for baby to look at and listen to, to help encourage a daily routine of tummy time practice.

LOOK & REACH: Assemble the arches – bringing all 3 arches to a point at the center, where it ties together. Arches have designated loops to hang toys to help encourage visual tracking, reach and focus.

CAUSE & EFFECT: The mat will be used for tummy & back time until about 5 months of age, or when baby begins to sit up. At this point, remove the arches, and allow baby to sit on the mat & discover the colorful wheel toy. The wheel toy can also be attached by its suction cup to any smooth surface. Encourage baby to bat the wheel and explore movement.

HANDS TO MIDLINE: As baby develops, encourage them to reach for the textured rings. Eventually baby will grasp them and bring each ring to mouth. This is called “hands to midline” and it is an important milestone in baby’s development.

BEGINNING STEM LEARNING: By 9-12 months of age, baby may begin to experiment with placing rings on the stacker post. The stacker post is intentionally straight to allow baby to stack rings in any order, thereby having a successful experience at any age.
