Pack n plays have a wide variety of features that offer new parents lots of flexibility and portability to meet your lifestyle. Here are some of the key features you should look for depending on your needs:
1- Bassinet Attachment (for napping newborn baby)- Attaches high in the play yard making it easier to lift infant without reaching down into the pack n play.
- Should only be used until child reaches manufacturer's recommended weight limit (around 15 pounds) or when baby can sit up, pull up or roll over.
- As soon as your child outgrows the bassinet, remove it and use the play yard underneath.
2- Changing Station Attachment (for additional convenience)- Attaches to the top or is suspended inside the rails.
- Is easily removed when not being used.
- Should be used with restraining straps at all times and always keep your hand on the baby when using the changing station.
- Must be removed when using the bassinet or play yard to avoid strangulation and entrapment hazards.
- Discontinue usage when child reaches manufacturer's recommended weight limit (around 25 pounds).
